About the Role

Title: Clinical Mental Health Counseling Instructor - FT40 (remote)

Location: Fort Lauderdale United States

Job Description:

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

  • Planning and organizing instructional methods and resources
  • Programmatic accreditation (if applicable)
  • Facilitating student engagement in the classroom/learning environment
  • Working one-on-one with students
  • Assessing students and providing developmental feedback
  • 40 hour per week teaching remote- 1-hour virtual, synchronous instruction required weekly.

Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years teaching experience online in counseling program, position is remote with some travel (3 weekends per year) required.
  • Faculty must have active, in good standing counseling license (LMFT or similar).
  • Licensed mental health professional is required
  • PhD in Counseling is required
  • Counselor Supervision Degree is preferred
