Job Description:

The Associate Product Manager creates product strategy, roadmap and performance of key products in their area of responsibility. They will also assist in-depth business reviews, presentation prep for senior management, and support initiatives with the site merchandising, marketing, and technology teams. The Associate Product Manager supports the business on all aspects of demand, customer experience, and conversion for their area of responsibility.

Essential Functions:

•  Work with the Product manager and a cross-functional, highly dynamic and multi-disciplinary team to develop new products and functionality

• Determine needs and identify new opportunities to improve the customer shopping experience and drive competitive advantage

• Monitor competition and industry developments to deliver site features that provide Belk customers with an exceptional shopping experience

• Communicate within the cross-functional team and on behalf of the team to stakeholders and executives

• Work with the Product Manager in the production of new products that reflect market trends and match customer needs

• Conduct market research on key fashion.

• Present and sells seasonal concept and product ideas to merchandising team and executives

• Ensures that all final design details and pre-production samples are approved (with merchandising and sourcing partners). Resolve escalated issues

• Provide input to seasonal concepts and presentation set-ups

• Recommend effective processes and procedures to improve workflow and results

Education / Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years Product Management Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
