Job Summary:

We are looking for a visionary AVP, Creative Director, Creative Strategy, Omni-channel to lead holistic, impactful storytelling across digital, in-store, and experiential touchpoints. This role partners cross-functionally to bring brand campaigns to life across all e.l.f. Beauty brands—e.l.f., e.l.f. SKIN, W3LL People, and Keys Soulcare.

 

You’ll collaborate closely with Global Packaging, Copy, Creative, and Visual Merchandising leads to craft 360° experiences across retail environments, launch events, corporate communications, and more. In partnership with the VM team, you’ll develop pitch concepts that elevate our retail presence in both U.S. and international markets.

 

In this role, you’ll:

- Lead and manage the entire creative lifecycle of product launches, from ideation through omni-channel execution.

- Work closely with the Creative Director and Editorial Director to develop compelling campaign concepts, presenting them to the VP of 360 Creative.

- Oversee a team of art directors and designers to translate ideas into powerful, visually engaging creative that meets both business and brand goals.

 

Responsibilities:

- Support the Creative Director in ideation and development of digital collateral—including seasonal campaigns, emails, paid media, e-commerce, and social assets

- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of art directors, designers, and freelancers, instilling a deep understanding of the customer journey throughout the design process

- Lead digital storytelling across all customer touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and cohesive messaging throughout the consumer experience

- Collaborate with art directors to ensure imagery and design align to create best-in-class brand representation

- Present creative concepts to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback with thoughtful, solution-oriented revisions

- Partner with external agencies to build and scale new brands across all marketing funnels

- Foster strong cross-functional relationships with e-commerce, marketing, social, and other departments to ensure creative alignment across the business

Key Skills:

- Proven global beauty experience, with the ability to scale brands internationally

- Expertise in growing a multi-brand, multi-category portfolio

- Strong cultural and beauty trend knowledge; ability to partner with Consumer Insights to develop forward-thinking strategies

- Skilled in extending launch narratives into 360° storytelling, including Visual Merchandising

- Deep category knowledge in skincare and makeup, including product usage, ingredients, and emerging trends

- Strong communicator and team player with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback

- Excellent at managing shifting priorities and tight timelines within budget

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree

- 10+ years of experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

- 10+ years of experience in creative and brand roles (beauty and/or retail preferred)

- 7+ years in a creative leadership role, managing people and workflows

- Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills

- Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally across departments

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

- Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel

- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Wrike, ISM/portals)

$180,000 - $200,000 a year
