Summary of Job Duties:

Assistant Professor, provides academic support to online students in the Medical Laboratory Sciences program. Primary responsibilities include tutoring students across all courses and assisting in grading senior capstone projects.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS[ASCP])

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual tutoring and academic assistance to online students across all Medical Laboratory Sciences courses

• Support students in understanding course material, assignments, and exam preparation

• Assist faculty with reviewing and grading senior capstone projects

• Maintain clear communication with students and faculty regarding academic progress and tutoring needs

• Uphold academic integrity and ensure confidentiality of student information

• Participate in faculty meetings or training sessions as requested
