Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Design and develop Java solutions for real-time data analytics and streaming solutions. Develop applications based on Kafka Streams frameworks using Java, Python, Confluent Kafka, Redis, Cloudera Hadoop, REST API, Mongo DB, AppDynamics, Shell Scripting, Ansible Scripts and Generative AI. Use Bitbucket, Jenkins, Release Lifecycle Management to help to automate application deployment and building shell scripts to reduce application outage times. Review and enable security features on platform to secure the data by enabling password management tool CyberArk, restricting access to users with role-based access controls. Collaborate to explore and deliver use-cases following industry standards. Ensure platform stability and adhere to standards and safety by performing timely upgrades, debugging and solutioning issues by regular review of platform. Build real-time solutions with Apache Spark, Redis and Kafka to help build dashboards to analyze high volumes of data. Collaborate with businesses to explore use-cases through agile data science and innovation tactics. Leverage data assets to enhance user experience, product, and overall digital capabilities. Provide recommendations on the selection of tech-stack to enhance current environments. Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve high impact projects by evaluating complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Ensure application designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 4 years of experience as IT Analyst, Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst or related position involving Java application development of streaming solutions. 4 years of experience must include: Streaming application development using Java and Spring Boot; Developing Confluent Kafka; Platform operations including setup and maintenance; Real-time data analytics using Redis; Data and risk management; REST API; AppDynamics, Splunk, Bitbucket, Jenkins; Shell Scripting, Ansible Scripts; Mongo DB, Oracle.
