About the Role
In this opportunity as Accounting Specialist Editor, you will:
- Create and maintain comprehensive, value-added advisory and compliance content that enhances Checkpoint's competitive edge and addresses the evolving needs of CPAs and auditors.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on new audit and accounting developments, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for accounting professionals.
- Manage relationships with industry experts, edit their contributions, and ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support strategic programs and initiatives related to artificial intelligence and advisory solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise, including in the testing and validation of technology solutions for financial advisory.
- Provide feedback on our audit and accounting AI solutions ongoing performance to our team of engineers and data scientists.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Accounting Specialist Editor, if your background includes:
- CPA license
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in consulting/advisory and compliance
- Proven expertise in advising clients on complex financial matters across various industries and proficiency in accounting and audit research tools
- Demonstrated writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate intricate concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of successful teamwork and collaboration

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $112,400 - $208,800. Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,100 - $180,300. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the base compensation range for this role is $102,200 - $189,800. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
