Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Designer with strong UX and UI skills to support them in refreshing the design of their home page and revamp the sites navigation bar. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on improving user journeys and crafting intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences.
The project is focused on a WordPress-based website and requires a designer who can balance creativity with usability and technical feasibility.
The candidate must work within specified project hours and ensure project milestones are met within budgeted time.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign the homepage to align with updated brand goals and improve user engagement.
- Review and update the sites navigation bar to enhance usability and streamline the user journey.
- Apply UX best practices to improve information architecture and overall site structure.
- Leverage existing analytics to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes or mockups for stakeholder review.
- Collaborate with developers and content teams to ensure seamless implementation on WordPress.
- Ensure responsive design and accessibility standards are met across all devices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work.
- Proficiency in design tools and WordPress design.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and user-centered design.
- Experience designing for WordPress websites, including familiarity with themes and plugins.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
