The Web/Mobile Developer II will be responsible for managing our current online applications and websites, as well as developing and implementing new websites and applications that meet our company's requirements. This role will help define business and marketing strategy through team work and collaboration. Besides being responsible for developing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining our company websites, web-based applications and mobile applications this position will play an important strategic role engaging with both internal and external clients as we embark on our ecommerce journey.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Work closely with UX & UI design, marketing, engineering and outside consultants on project goals and requirements.
- Create user flows, wireframes, design-to-code prototypes, and final front-end code.
- Identify, implement and manage best practices to streamline and maintain distributor web and mobile applications along with websites.
- Present technical information to all level of staff and senior leadership as needed.
- Act as the Lead Developer for the Episerver platform and new .COMs.
- Lead development, troubleshooting and ideation to create and support our digital presence.
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
- Produce fully functional mobile and Web based applications.
- Work closely with Salesforce admin team on building web forms, integrations, and QA testing.
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Design interfaces to improve user experience.
- Liaise with Marketing / Sales teams to plan new features.
- Ensure new and legacy Web and Mobile applications meet quality standards.
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in Web/Mobile application development and testing.
- Proficiency with, Json, XML, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, C#, .Net, JavaScript, Angular and jQuery.
- Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming languages.
- Familiar with Android and iPhone platform development.
- An advanced understanding of basic UI/UX principles.
- Exposure to full stack web development methodology and technology.
- Experience designing/developing within a CMS / WCM Platform such as Episerver or WordPress.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle as well as QA and test processes.
- Proven experience with Agile development methodology
- Experience with MS Project, Wrike, Jira.
- Familiarity with Git based code hosting and collaboration tool like Bitbucket.
- Ability to create support documentation for all new applications
- Strong teamwork, planning, and communication skills.
- Experience with third-party libraries and API development.
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming design principles.
- Experience with RDBMS systems such as SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with Business intelligence presentation tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
