Job Description:

• Track, review, and summarize outsourced alternative investment research and due diligence.
• Monitor performance of alternative investment strategies and managers; prepare regular reporting and updates.
• Maintain and update shadow accounts and assist with data reconciliation.
• Create clear, professional presentations for investment committees and senior leadership.
• Support the alternatives group with operational and clerical responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate key developments in external research and manager performance to portfolio managers and the investment team.
• Assist in preparing periodic reviews, reports, and client-ready materials.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and demonstrate a strong attention to detail in execution.

• Completes other duties as assigned within the Chief Investment Office to support customers, colleagues or the company (Huntington)
• Supports all sales & service goals within the Chief Investment Office
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in investments, asset management, or financial services, with exposure to alternatives preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage data, reporting, and clerical tasks accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to build professional presentations and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of summarizing and presenting complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader investment team.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional designations (CFA, CAIA) or progress toward one are a plus, but not required.
• Interest in career development within alternatives, with potential to grow into more analytical or strategy-facing responsibilities over time.
