Job description

TechWolf’s award-winning skills-intelligence platform is powered by state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and scalable back-end systems. Now, we’re ready to raise the bar with a premium user experience.

As our first UX Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and interactive language of our product. You’ll work hand-in-hand with engineers, and product managers to enhance interfaces across all customer-facing products.

This is a unique opportunity to help and shape how we approach UX engineering at TechWolf. You’ll have plenty of room to room to grow, with opportunities to specialize in product design, deepen your engineering craft, or thriving in a hybrid role.

What you'll do

  • Establish and maintain our design system: create a cohesive visual language, component library, and design tokens that scale across teams and products.

  • Explore, prototype, validate – contribute to product discovery by prototyping ideas, testing with users, and influencing what we build.

  • Build what you design – implement responsive, accessible interfaces with React/TypeScript, ensuring high performance, robust testing, and system maintainability.

  • Instrument and iterate – set up analytics, gather feedback, and continuously refine experiences based on data.

  • Partner across the organisation – work with multiple teams to elevate UX across the board, bringing consistency and user-centered thinking to diverse initiatives.

  • Champion best practices – embed WCAG standards, drive consistency through style guides, and improve design-ops processes across the organisation.

  • Mentor others – help teammates level up in design craft and front-end techniques, fostering a user-centered mindset throughout TechWolf.

  • You care deeply about users and enjoy turning complexity into clear, intuitive experiences.

  • You take initiative and thrive when trusted to figure things out and make things happen.

  • You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates and enjoy working in cross-functional teams.

  • You’re based in Belgium and excited to work together with the TechWolf team in our Ghent office at least three days per week.
