Role Description

As a UX Designer at Aderant, you will work as a key member of our design team, creating intelligent user experiences and information architecture for our software solutions for both desktop and mobile devices.  You will use your creativity and eye for design, along with your technical knowledge to develop great user experiences.  You will collaborate with product and development teams to document and deliver engaging designs.  You will analyze data from user research and our analytics platform to help make informed decisions on how to improve our product’s quality, value and experience. 

Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of User Experience Design work 
  • Expertise with Figma is essential; Auto Layout, component design, FigJam 
  • Product design experience in enterprise cloud-based applications 
  • Experience developing wireframes and prototypes 
  • Attention to detail and care for producing polished deliverables 
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills 
  • Experience with Material UI and or Bootstrap is an asset 
  • Experience working with HTML/CSS, React, Angular, JavaScript or similar is an asset 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Design Team, PMs and Developers to produce engaging user experiences 
  • Be present for all necessary meetings, internally and across teams in different time zones 
  • Conduct user research and leverage data insights to understand business and customer needs to create intelligent user flows and well-crafted designs 
  • Be able to translate business requirements into design concept specifications, then into wireframes and finally, high-fidelity designs and prototypes 
  • Conceptually design information architecture and user experience flows for complex data structures that facilitate UX paradigms like search, navigation, and actionable business features and functionality 
  • Ensure consistency in layout composition, information architecture and user experience for all products and features across devices 
  • Participate on all facets of our product and UX process from discovery, design to development and further to quality assurance and measurement 
  • Understand design standards and be able to use design systems effectively 
  • Manage design work with product-dev project tracking software like Aha, Azure DevOps
