Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Travel Program Coordinator to manage and enhance our organization’s travel practices. This role is responsible for promoting sustainable travel options, supporting travelers, implementing company-wide travel policy, and serving as the primary liaison between our employees and the travel agency. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Job Duties
- Promote and advocate for sustainable travel options in alignment with corporate goals.
- Provide direct support to travelers by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
- Manage and implement the organization's travel policy, ensuring compliance and optimization of travel arrangements.
- Coordinate with the Change Management team to develop and deliver marketing and awareness campaigns related to travel policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact between employees and the company’s travel agency.
- Act as the primary contact for employees across sites seeking travel-related information or assistance.
- Analyze travel data and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, enhance booking processes, and improve traveler satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions on travel policies, procedures, and tools.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate travel management or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and support.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and initiative in performing travel-related responsibilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across multiple departments and external partners.
- Experience with travel booking systems and data analysis tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with sustainable travel initiatives and best practices.
- Background in marketing or communications, particularly in delivering internal awareness campaigns.
- Experience working with change management teams or organizational development initiatives.
