Your Role:
The Transactional Practice Group Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to a fast-paced transactional team. This role involves managing attorney calendars, coordinating travel, expense reporting, time entry and document editing. The ideal candidate brings strong writing, proofreading, and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
Your Impact:
- Document Editing: Edit miscellaneous provisions in agreements using Track Changes for attorney review with precision and attention to detail.
- Technical Problem Solving: Address and resolve advanced administrative or technical challenges using sound judgment and prior experience.
- Presentation Support: Create, edit, and format PowerPoint presentations for attorney meetings and external use.
- Calendar Management: Implement scheduling priorities, coordinate meetings, and manage attorney calendars efficiently.
- Relationship Management: Promote strong client relationships through timely communication and support.
- Travel & Event Coordination: Arrange and confirm travel plans, meeting agendas, and logistics for internal and client-facing events.
- Multitasking in a Fast-Paced Environment: Successfully manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to shifting priorities as needed.
YOUR SKILLS:
Required:
- Strong grammatical, proofreading, and writing skills
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the firm
- Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as needed
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Initiative and accountability for assigned tasks
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
