We are excited to make O'Fallon, MO our Finance Operations Hub for North America. This expansion includes establishing a new transactional accounting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organization, contribute to setting up a new team, and enhance processes.

The Impact You Will Have

The Transactional Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting the reconciliation and resolution of accounts receivable, payables, and cash/claims suspense accounts. This role involves assisting in the coordination and balancing of unbalanced items and resolving differences. The specialist will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate booking of items and timely resolution of discrepancies. Additionally, the specialist will aid in documenting processes and contributing to the maintenance of global standards and governance.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of accounts receivable/payables and cash/claims suspense account reconciliations.

  • Support the identification and analysis of account differences, collaborating with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies. Help maintain an abeyance system for tracking unresolved items.

  • Support prepare monthly cash, receivable/payable, and other account reconciliations and related journal entries.

  • Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports using SAP data, including accounts receivable aging counts, collector reports, and metrics.

  • Support the documentation of policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned processes and offshore team assistance. Assist in archiving records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements.

  • Contribute to project teams as part of business-led initiatives and own function/OE programs/projects.

  • Support team expectations and quality assurance throughout project execution.

  • Participate in the development of cross-domain solutions combining business process knowledge and technological options.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • 1-3 years experience in transactional accounting and reconciliation processes, including accounts payable and travel and entertainment.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

  • Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is preferred

The annualized base pay range for this role is $48,900 - $73,924.  The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
