Job Description:
Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government company, is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst 1 to support KDS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be a U. S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Public Trust. This is a remote opportunity.

The candidate will be responsible for managing voice and data circuits, video conference services, and wireless billing services. They will also design, coordinate, and procure telecommunications services and hardware to meet Agency Mission and ensure that such services are cost-effective. The candidate will be involved with the coordination of telecommunications network services provided to customers including various Agencies, State and Local Governments, Local Exchange Carriers, telecommunications equipment and service vendors, and the Department’s EIS or Network contract carrier.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with acquiring and coordinating telecommunications services for hub sites and field offices.
- Design, coordinate, and procure telecommunications services and hardware to meet Agency Mission and ensure that such services are cost-effective.
- Manage voice and data circuits, video conference services, and wireless billing services.
- Coordinate all telecommunications network services provided by various entities, including the Department, other various Agencies, State and Local Governments, Local Exchange Carriers, telecommunications equipment and service vendors, and the Department’s EIS or Network contract carrier.
- Provide support for several tasks related to telecommunications services, including providing billing reports, oversight and assistance with Telecom vendor portals, responding to Agency calls/questions and updating necessary documentation and SOP documents.
- Provide telecommunications billing reports for agency program managers and administrative officials, their Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and other management officials.
- Provide oversight and assistance with several Telecom vendor portals extracting and analyzing Program billing data, assisting with Program assessments and internal process refinement. Respond to all Agency calls/questions as they relate to telecommunications services including working closely with telecommunication vendors, service providers and Agency customers for corrections. Update necessary documentation for all installed services and maintain Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) documents related to Telecom services.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), High School Diploma (required).
- U. S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
