OverviewApplication
Education changes lives. But tech hasn’t lived up to its promise for the more than 1 billion students in school around the world — at least not yet. At Kognity, we’re here to change that.
We’re a 125-person EdTech scale-up powering learning in 120+ countries. Our intelligent platform replaces traditional textbooks and combines rich, interactive pedagogy with smart AI and data to help students and teachers thrive — from international schools to US high schools.
We’re growing, and our People team is now looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s ready to help us find (and welcome!) amazing new Kognites. If you love meeting new people, running smooth hiring processes, all while growing your HR knowledge, you might be exactly who we need.
Why Kognity is the place to be:
-
Educational Innovation – Build cutting-edge solutions that actually make learning better.
-
Global Reach – Our platform supports educators and learners in over 120 countries.
-
Collaborative Culture – You’ll work with brilliant, kind people who care about what they do.
-
Real Growth – From personal development to career progression, we’ve got your back.
What you’ll do:
-
Hiring – You’ll run end-to-end recruitment processes, from drafting job ads and sourcing for talent, to making offers. You’ll make sure candidates feel welcome and excited to join us.
-
Be a trusted partner to our hiring managers – Help them shape roles, run smooth interview processes and make great hiring decisions.
-
Keep our people operations running smoothly – Maintain accurate data, contracts, payroll inputs and systems so everything stays on track.
-
Create smooth first (and last) days – Make sure onboarding and offboarding are welcoming, clear and positive.
What we’re looking for:
-
Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment, owning the full process – with a strong emphasis on sourcing and engaging top talent.
-
A people person & strong communicator – You keep candidates informed and hiring managers supported.
-
Proactive & solutions-focused – You spot what needs doing and jump in without waiting.
-
Organised & detail-oriented – You keep processes structured and clear, making it easy for others to follow along and trust that the details are right.
-
Curious about all things people – While your main focus will be hiring, you’re excited to learn more about HR in an international company.
-
Fluent written and spoken English – Swedish is not a requirement.
-
A curious, open-minded approach to AI — you enjoy using tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to push your work further and faster.
Our Values
-
We leverage AI – We apply AI to enhance creativity, decisions, and execution to allow for impact maximization.
-
We take ownership - We take initiative and solve problems we see.
-
We drive customer value - Success for our customers means success for us.
-
We are transparent - No secrets, no mysteries. We're the open book of opinions and feedback. Radical transparency is our thing, and we're not shy about sharing information far and wide
-
We take care of ourselves and each other - We work hard and passionately. We also prioritise our well-being and that of our colleagues. We think long-term.
