Position: Strategic Partnerships Manager

Location: Anywhere, USA (REMOTE OK)

Salary range $75k to  $120k + bonus + full time benefits including 401k, paid holidays, and paid vacation

Position Summary:

The Strategic Partnerships Manager, Affinity Sales will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and implementing key innovative partnerships. They will also own the optimization and enhancement of these relationships after launch. Partnerships will primarily focus on positioning NAF’s suite of home financing and other product offerings to partners as an employee or customer benefit, and may expand into other areas.

This individual will build rapport with key stakeholders and facilitate communication with partners to review results; brainstorm ways to optimize and enhance the partnership by thinking outside the box; work cross functionally with internal teams to execute any changes or enhancements; troubleshoot any issues that may arise. They are responsible for effectively and efficiently communicating internally and externally the goals, vision, and overall tactics for each partnership opportunity. This individual should have an entrepreneurial spirit, as our Strategic Partnerships team is tasked with innovation and thought leadership in new and diverse ventures. The role demands a focus on execution, continuously prioritizing key projects and tasks to drive and improve partnership performance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects, initiate outreach, and engaged with potential business partners
  • Close B2B sales – move prospects into contracted partnerships
  • Maintain strong business partner relationships, driving significant NAF sales volume from employees and/or customers
  • Work closely with marketing, data analytics, legal and project managers to drive partnership optimization
  • Identify issues, evaluate options, and execute solutions
  • Work with partners to evaluate trends in data and adjust as needed
  • Prioritize workflow for key partnership projects and keep assigned individuals on task

Qualifications

  • Sales background, preferably in B2B sales
  • Experience in the mortgage or employee benefits space
  • College Degree Preferred, BA or BS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative, flexible and solution oriented
  • Data driven and results focused
  • Prior focus on joint marketing partnerships and/or joint ventures preferred
  • Mortgage Knowledge and experience preferred, but not required (will consider employee benefits, HR, etc.)
