Title: Strategic Financial Analyst / Senior Analyst

Job Description:
Authority Brands is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Senior Analyst to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Finance, this individual will play a critical role in supporting FP&A, investor and lender reporting, and ad-hoc strategic finance initiatives. This role offers significant exposure to cross-functional teams and executive leadership, and is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial acumen, excellent Excel and modeling skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days onsite in New York City, NY and the salary range is about $75,000 to $120,000 annual base salary.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Partner with the Senior Director to build and manage budgets and forecasts for the Retail and Corporate business functions
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, variance analyses, and model key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain agendas and presentations for monthly management reporting meetings
- Monitor and assist in the monthly financial close process, including maintaining rolling forecasts and key reconciliations
- Investor & Lender Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly investor reporting packages and quarterly board deliverables
- Collaborate with accounting and treasury to support private equity and lender reporting
- Lead annual regulatory and compliance reporting initiatives
- Strategic Finance & Operational Support
- Maintain corporate allocation and commission schedules across business units
- Analyze data to prepare pro-forma financial entries, as needed
- Track and reconcile costs related to key initiatives and investments against budget
- Professionally communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely, accurate and insightful reporting.
- Support M&A and integration efforts, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Hyperion, or similar).
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and an eagerness to learn in a multi-brand environment with shifting priorities.
