Location:  Charlotte, North Carolina Contract To Hire 

Job Description:

Compensation: To $60K.

Job Overview - Staff Accountant - 33942

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team in a meaningful and rewarding organization.

• Reconciles General Ledger accounts and bank accounts
• Prepares journal entries
• Reconciles group home credit card statements, petty cash, and gas accounts
• Supports payroll functions
• Processes invoices and checks for customers using specialized software
• Reconciles transactions
• Monitors bank account balances to ensure compliance with government regulations
• Assists with month-end close
• Will be onsite during CTH period and then hybrid (3 days on site) 37.5 hours/ week.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred
• 2 years' experience in general accounting and accounting systems.
• Proficient in Excel
• Passion for the non-profit mission
