The Role

As a Software Tester at LogiSense, you'll go beyond running tests-you'll dive deep into the "why" behind our features and think like our customers. You'll creatively craft and execute test strategies, ensuring every release adds value and delivers a seamless experience. Your work will directly shape the reliability and success of our industry-leading platform.

What You'll Bring to the Team

Expertise and Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience testing web or other relevant software applications
• 3+ years working within a structured QA team
• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience)

Quality-First Testing Skills

• Strong knowledge of exploratory testing techniques, test case management, and reporting
• Ability to break down high-level requirements into actionable testing tasks and deliverables
• Creativity in designing test strategies for core platform features and custom functionality
• Experience working with Product Owners and Team Leads to ensure delivery meets real-world user needs
• A balanced approach to manual exploratory testing and automation coverage
• Confidence in leading UAT verification with stakeholders
• Attention to detail in documenting processes, results, and learnings

Mindset & Collaboration

• Eagerness to learn, teach, communicate, and collaborate on a daily basis
• A passion for staying current with emerging testing techniques (manual and automated)
• Experience testing and deploying software in iterative, agile environments
• A "pitch in" attitude-willingness to help the team meet its goals however you can
• Comfort supporting the tools and platforms your team delivers
• Strong critical thinking, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, self-manage, and collaborate effectively in distributed teams

• Languages & APIs: Python, REST, SOAP
• Testing Tools: Selenium, Behave, Gherkin-style test design
• Infrastructure: AWS
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
• Processes & Frameworks: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Delivery
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, X-Ray
• Domain Knowledge: IP technologies like Billing, VoIP, Wireless, Hosted Communications, IoT
