Job Description:

Tyler Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer at One Tyler Way, Moraine, OH 45439 to perform the following job duties:

Understand business requirements, develop designs, setup test data, document the design and present the design and testcases to the Development managers. Develop the software application using the approved design and the business requirements documents. The tools widely used for the coding are Oracle SQL and OraclePL/SQL. Unit Testing: Test the enhancements or bug fixes in the test environment using the designed unit test cases and verify the functionality. Once the test cases are completed, move the code to review by peers. One the code is approved, promote the changes into version control. Documentation is one the important parts of the developer's job. Document the summary of the work completed, details of setups/configurations, details of the unit testing, and so on. The work incident must be documented before moving to the completion status. Develop new application programs from established specifications or documented requirements. Maintain existing application programs by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies in both previously released software and software slated for future release. Assure program, module and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures. Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance. Utilize new technologies and tools to modify products and provide integration with applications developed internally and externally. Must work in the office at least 2 days per week. May work remotely up to 3 days per week in the same MSA as the worksite. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or a related discipline, or a foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience as a reports developer or any occupation which relevant experience gained and 2 years of experience in each of the following: Oracle SQL & Oracle PL/SQL.
