Description

The Social Media Content Manager, reporting into the Senior Social Media Manager, requires someone with ample social experience and a proven track record of personally producing and editing innovative, successful, and elevated social content and campaigns. This individual must be highly creative with a passion for brand building and an eye for design; must be able to provide guidance and feedback to take social content and creative to the next level.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive creative ideation and execution of high-quality creative, developing out-of-the-box content. You’ll own the creative pipeline, submitting all requests to the design team, managing communication, and routing through the appropriate channels for stakeholder review and approval. Pushing the boundaries in developing owned, innovative social campaigns that spark conversation and build brand love.  
  • Personally capture and execute video and photo content with elevated editing techniques and high-quality output. This includes shooting, editing, color grading, music, and transitions. Understand each platform’s best practices in order to tailor content accordingly. 
  • Partner with external agencies and influencers when applicable, creating briefs and supporting pre-production planning through on-set execution (when applicable).
  • Stay up to date on all platform changes, trends, and best practices, and how they impact social content and creative. Work quickly to ideate and execute reactive, trend-based creative that is culturally relevant. 
  • Shoot “on location” on a weekly basis (this could mean in-office, heading to a local retailer, or traveling to attend events) with an eye for capturing relatable, trending moments, able to edit and post in real time.
  • Ensure the content in the creative pipeline and on the editorial calendar aligns with internal business objectives, working closely with community managers to ensure clarity across the social and marketing team. 
  • Work closely with the Senior Strategist to understand what content is resonating with our audience and innovate accordingly.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or other related field preferred or commensurate combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years of experience in social media content creation within the Toy/Entertainment/CPG and/or agency space is required.
  • Proven track record of first-hand developing and executing successful social media campaigns. Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Figma, and digital design best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively across different teams, departments, and external partners.
  • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment. Easily adapts to shifts in priorities.

The salary range for this position is $86,400.00 - $95,420 /Yr. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, location. Eligibility for annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, the salary range may not apply to other states.
