Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Sr. Translation Manager will play a critical and leading role for the translation center of excellence (COE) team. The Sr. Translation Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight of centralized translation processes, tools and execution of translation projects to ensure we meet critical product launch timelines.
Responsibilities:
·Serve as centralized translation center of excellence (COE) process owner
·Responsible for expertise and management of translation processes and procedures
·Responsible for oversight and leadership of the translation COE to set direction and resource capacity planning
·Lead dedicated translation planning and execution
·Lead centralized budget/forecasting and resource management for translations
·Drive vendor selection, vendor business review and Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for translations
·Own Glossary Review Process and Governance
·Strategic planning for translation In-country review (ICR)
·Lead strategic translation tool/system evaluations with stakeholders
·Coach and mentor translation COE team
·Leads or supports cross-functional meetings with key stakeholders (ie ADO, Product Labeling, Soft Dev, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs) to ensure alignment is reached for critical translation project timelines and deliverables
·Creates and manages all critical key performance indicators (KPIs), key metrics and reports for stakeholder visibility and awareness for critical translation deliverables
Education and Experience:
·Bachelor’s Degree
·Minimum of 5 years translation work experience
·Healthcare/life sciences experience required. A minimum of 3 years is required
·3 years experience working within a regulated industry preferably in the regulated medical device industry.
·Must have ability to understand medical/clinical and technical aspects of product.
·Experience managing translation teams and projects is preferred or other comparable experience
Skills/Competencies:
·Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of FDA labeling and other RegulatoryRequirements
·Demonstrate a working knowledge and experience with translation vendors and translation tools
·Expert knowledge with MS Office, including Outlook, Project, and Visio.
·Ability to use systems and tools to design and develop operational metrics and reporting
·Experience with document management systems, such as Agile PLM and SharePoint.
·Excellent writing and communication skills
·Ability to understand and communicate product knowledge.
·Team player capable of working with and influencing cross-functional project teams.
·Ability to multi-task, organize, judge priorities and provide guidance to other product labeling team members
·Ability to comply with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, etc.
NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week. #LI-Hybrid
Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,600.00 - $252,900.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
