Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Quality Analyst  within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement and quality of data products that are leveraged across the enterprise to support key business decisions, product direction, and user experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in software testing methodologies within a highly collaborative, fast-paced, waterfall/agile hybrid development environment.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and data engineers to implement comprehensive test strategies using test automation tooling and frameworks.
  • Develop detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases to be implemented and executed by test automation and manual testing teams.
  • Review and validate test automation scripts while leveraging tools for comprehensive data and application functionality validation.
  • Apply prior experience with USDA's Women Infants and Children (WIC) program or demonstrate ability to quickly learn WIC program rules and policies to support detailed testing scenarios.
  • Identify productivity improvement opportunities through quality engineering process enhancements and Agile development lifecycle optimization; develop procedures and proposals and lead implementation of these improvements.
  • Plan and execute manual testing activities to ensure all business processes and workflows built on the enterprise data platform meet high quality standards.
  • Document and analyze test results with actionable recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Isolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defect and test case databases while verifying the effectiveness of implemented fixes.
  • Support user acceptance testing conducted by business partners and end users to ensure solution quality.
  • Implement automated testing using Playwright or similar modern testing technologies and frameworks.
  • Define and champion quality assurance and testing best practices among development teams across the organization.
  • Utilize AI tools and platforms to enhance use case development, test scenario generation, and requirements analysis processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field of study is preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional work experience in software quality assurance and testing (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Must have hands-on experience with automated testing using Playwright or similar modern testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading a team of testers, including setting priorities and effectively managing team workload and deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of software quality principles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience defining and implementing test management tools, processes, and quality frameworks.
  • Ability to create, analyze, and publish quality metrics and measures across teams to communicate release quality and deliver comprehensive status updates to senior management.
  • Experience recommending and implementing best practices to improve quality engineering workflows and increase overall team productivity.
  • Hands-on experience with test data creation, management, and validation techniques.
  • Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test plans for complex software systems.
  • Must have experience creating and writing automated and manual test scripts using modern frameworks.
  • Proficiency with test management tools and methodologies in Azure DevOps specifically (Required).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document complex software defects.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including communication internally and externally with clients.
  • Strong knowledge of agile development practices and experience with agile planning tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Required).
  • Experience with USDA's Women Infants and Children (WIC) program is highly preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools and platforms to assist with use case development, test case generation, and quality analysis processes.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual range is $100,000.00- $140,000.00.

This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law. Additionally, this position aligns with the Voyatek Career Framework as a level 04 individual contributor in a Quality Assurance position.
