Job Description Summary

The Payroll Support Consultant requires a blend of technical payroll expertise, client service excellence, and project management capabilities to support teams in Client Onboarding and Account Management. Act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate smooth transitions, resolve complex payroll related issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead significant payroll data integration projects planning through to execution and review.
  • Act as a primary consultant for complex payroll integration, providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Drive initiatives for enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of payroll data management and integration.
  • Develop comprehensive training programs for clients and internal teams, covering advanced payroll processes, integration techniques, and system functionalities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes to ensure compliance and relevance of training content and payroll practices.
  • Assist team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge and experience in payroll administration and integration (typically five or more years)
  • Good understanding of retirement plan administration and related compliance regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding communication, customer service, and relationship management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Highly proficiency in payroll software, MS Office, and database systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth experience with retirement plan administration and a comprehensive understanding of the retirement industry

Working Conditions

  • Remote or hybrid office/remote environment

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $75,000 - $83,000 annually. 

Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
