About Skyscanner
Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily.
Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all.
Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).
Now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Marketing Manager to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.
About the role
(Hybrid)
Geo Growth is one of our core business priorities. We leverage scalable product and marketing platforms that enable efficient, global growth — consistently outperforming market demand. Ensuring we sustain this out-paced market growth across our AMER markets is the responsibility of the Senior Marketing Manager/AMER Regional Geo Growth Lead.
Through a deep understanding of the markets and regional dynamics, you will identify opportunities to generate incremental growth, course-correct when performance softens, and ensure our activities remain relevant and impactful across the region.
You’ll work cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, product, commercial, analytics, finance and operations to align regional opportunities with global strategy, ensuring our efforts drive both immediate impact and long-term sustainable growth.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring Skyscanner continues to grow in the market by connecting regional insights with global strategy to drive cohesive, data-led and traveler-first initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
Accelerate Growth in Priority Markets
- Develop and align tailored strategies for priority markets, starting with the US
- Coordinate cross-functional execution of integrated campaigns, ensuring alignment on KPIs and measurement frameworks.
- Oversee test-and-learn pilots within the region, distilling insights into replicable playbooks for future initiatives.
- Build investment cases to unlock funding for high-impact opportunities.
- Translate learnings into strategic recommendations to scale across other AMER markets.
Regional and Market-Level Performance and Insights
- Monitor performance across the AMER region to identify growth opportunities, risks, and areas for optimization.
- Create and maintain a consistent performance narrative across the business, providing visibility into market dynamics and key drivers of change.
- Leverage internal data and external market signals to explain performance trends and influence strategy.
- Represent AMER performance in business forums and act as the voice of the region across the organization.
- Review market-level budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business priorities and realistic market potential.
- Provide actionable insights through structured regional and market-level reporting (e.g., dashboards, monthly updates, market summaries).
Global Executed Locally
- Feed local market priorities into relevant global planning e.g. annual marketing calendar
- Identify and advocate for high-impact local relevancy opportunities, particularly in high-potential or underperforming markets.
- Partner with channel, product, and commercial teams to ensure coordinated delivery of integrated, cross-channel marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure global marketing and product initiatives are effectively localized and amplified across the region.
About you
- Experience working in a fast-paced product or tech environment.
- Knowledge of the AMER region, with strong familiarity and insight into the US market.
- Proven track record of driving cross-channel marketing campaigns that deliver measurable growth.
- Strong analytical and performance mindset, comfortable working with data to drive insight and action.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker who can connect the dots between local insight and global priorities.
- Comfortable operating with both strategic and practical lenses — able to pivot from analysis to action.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience representing regional performance at senior forums.
- Relevant degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
- Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese a strong plus.
