Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Systems Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise systems supporting operational, financial, and productivity reporting. This role is pivotal in aligning technology solutions with business processes across material management, work management, and accounting functions. The architect will play a hands-on leadership role in system design, integration, and migration initiatives to ensure business-critical applications are reliable, scalable, and compliant.
Requirements
- Architect and implement systems for Material Requisitioning and Material Variance Reporting to ensure accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation.
- Design and support Productivity Reporting frameworks within Work Management Systems, enabling real-time performance insights.
- Develop and maintain Fiscal Calendar Management tools for financial planning and reporting.
- Lead initiatives for Unit of Property Identification, ensuring compliance with asset tracking and capitalization standards.
- Build Activity-Based Accounting models, including cost driver derivation and allocation methodologies.
- Create systems for Calculating and Reporting Units of Work, integrating operational metrics with financial outcomes.
- Enable Crew-Based Labor Reporting, capturing team-level labor distribution and productivity.
- Lead workflow migration and functional data mapping activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors to align architecture with enterprise strategy.
Technical Skills – Must Have:
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Proficiency in Cobol/370, CICS TS, DB2 v12.1.
- Strong experience in data mapping and building workflow migration solutions.
- Expertise in QMF reporting, SPUFI, File-Manager, CA Intertest.
- Proficiency in SAR View, VSAM, DFSORT, IDCAMS</strong>.
- Hands-on experience with SCANA applications and developing integration modules for work management.
Technical Skills – Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of CICS Web Interface, Web Services, and API Management.
- Familiarity with MQ or other message queuing technologies.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Visio for documentation and presentations.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills across cross-functional and remote teams.
