The Enterprise Cloud & Connectivity organization is actively seeking an experienced leader to take our enterprise networking capabilities to the next level. What You’ll Be Doing
As a leader in Lilly’s Digital Core and a member of the Enterprise Cloud & Connectivity Lead Team, you will be responsible for providing connectivity to Lilly’s network around the globe in a fully supported and secure manner. You will partner with infrastructure and business-facing teams to understand their needs and perspectives while influencing and establishing the direction for the future based on modern technology and automation. You will lead your organization by developing technical talent and leading them in bold new directions that stretch the limits of what is possible with constant emphasis on running reliably, improving efficiency, securing information fully, and improving user experience.
How You’ll Succeed
- Operations Management: Lead global delivery of LAN, WLAN, WAN, Cloud networking, and Data Center Facilities networking.
- Network Security Management: Lead the operational delivery of network security capabilities such as firewalls and network security monitoring technologies. Partner with Cyber security to define and implement a cyber roadmap.
- Service Management: Establish and maintain an excellent service management ecosystem, including defining, implementing, and improving services.
- People Management: Develop and manage team capabilities, anticipate future staffing and skillset needs, and develop technical talent in the organization.
- Vendor Management: Determine sourcing strategies, establish requirements and SLAs, and lead governance activities.
- IT/Business Account Management: Build strong relationships within IT and across the company, translating needs into strategies and actions.
- Quality/Compliance: Implement and reinforce company IT quality and compliance practices.
- Project/Program Management: Ensure projects and programs are delivered on time, on budget, and with expected outcomes.
- Financial Management: Meet financial and headcount targets, optimize spend, and ensure effective service delivery.
- Strategy Management: Establish the 3 to 5-year strategic direction, aligning with overall IT and Business Unit/Function strategies.
- Innovation Management: Stay abreast of technological advancements and incorporate them into current and future services. Promote and reward innovative thinking within the team.
- Architecture Management: Participate in establishing and aligning with architecture principles.
What You Should Bring
- Proven experience in setting strategic direction and defining a future vision for enterprise technologies and services.
- Multiple years leading global organizations with a blended sourcing model of internal and external resources.
- Extensive experience in advancing service management capabilities.
- Strong ability to lead in crisis and incident management situations.
- Direct leadership in introducing new technology solutions and services.
- Recognized as a thought leader by business and IT leaders.
- Strong influence and communication skills; ability to collaborate and build relationships.
- Expertise in complex, diverse landscapes (business, technology, regulatory, partners).
- Significant experience with process improvement tools and techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and self-manage.
Your Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field.
- 10+ years of leading enterprise information technology solutions and leading the operational support for mission critical services with direct experience across the infrastructure services of Hosting, Networking, Communication, Collaboration, and Deskside.
- 5+ years of leveraging external partners to deliver services including requirements definition, contract establishment, and governance to ensure desired outcomes·

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$154,500 - $226,600
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
