A little bit about our team:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Director, Direct-to-Fan to join Warner Music Group’s Global Marketing team.

 

Your role:

The Senior Director, Direct-To-Fan will lead Atlantic Records’ strategy for connecting artists and fans, embedding modern fan engagement into campaigns and artist development. This role partners closely with the Atlantic US frontline marketing team, Global Marketing’s Audience and Fan Engagement teams, and the wider D2F network to deliver innovative, data-driven initiatives that strengthen artist-fan relationships and build long-term value.

 

Reporting to the SVP, Global Direct-To-Fan Services, the Senior Director is a strategist who understands fandom as both culture and commerce. They will champion new platforms, technologies and community-first models that give fans real value, keeping Atlantic artists at the forefront of how music and fandom evolve.

 

Here you’ll get to:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Partner with Atlantic Records, alongside the SVP, Global D2F Services and Senior Director, Fan Engagement, to shape and deliver the label’s D2F strategy.
  • Embed a fan-first approach into label campaign planning and artist narratives.
  • Champion innovation by piloting new platforms, tools and community models within the label’s campaigns.

 

Fan Acquisition & Engagement

  • Shape how Atlantic artists acquire, engage and retain fans, ensuring compelling reasons for fans to sign up and stay connected.
  • Work with Audience and Fan Engagement teams to turn casual listeners into active superfans using first-party data, direct comms and community building.
  • Share best practices on cultivating fandom beyond social platforms, including direct communication channels and fan monetization.

 

Collaboration & Support

  • Build strong partnerships with Atlantic teams, ensuring D2F practices are embedded into label activity.
  • Work in partnership with the global network of D2F leads to ensure Atlantic’s campaigns are supported and connected across regions.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to label marketers, enabling them to get the most out of D2F platforms and data.

 

Measurement & Insights

  • Define KPIs and success metrics for D2F adoption at Atlantic Records, focusing on fan growth, engagement and lifetime value.
  • Use analytics to evaluate campaign performance and provide insights that optimize strategy and demonstrate impact.
  • Track trends in fandom, digital culture and consumer behavior to ensure Atlantic artists remain ahead of the curve.

 

About you:

  • 7+ years’ experience in direct-to-fan or digital marketing roles, ideally within music or entertainment.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of new platforms and practices within a label or brand environment.
  • Deep understanding of fan behavior, community building and data-driven marketing.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM, e-commerce and community platforms within creative industries.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to translate global strategy into label execution.
  • A modern D2F strategist who thrives at the intersection of culture, technology and fandom.
  • Curious and forward-thinking, always exploring new ways to connect artists and fans.
  • Data-informed but fan-first, able to balance insight with creativity and community building.
  • Collaborative and influential, with the ability to embed new practices across a label team.
  • Passionate about music and fan engagement, with a strong belief in the power of fandom to build long-term artist careers.

Salary Range

$120,000 to $135,000 Annually

 

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
