Senior Data Scientist
Location: CO-Denver
Job Description: Adecco is recruiting for an important technology brand a Senior Data Scientist position, to join an Hybrid team in Denver, CO.
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to be our primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data science, building and guiding a new function within the organization. In this role, you will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and derive actionable insights that drive strategic decisions in our mobility and IoT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our data capabilities and implement machine learning algorithms that improve our services. This is a hands-on role for a strategic thinker and self-starter with strong technical expertise and the leadership skills to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute data science projects from ideation through to implementation, establishing best practices, methodologies, and standards.
- Design and implement data-driven models and algorithms to solve complex problems in mobility.
- Experience with IoT data a plus.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data using SQL and Python to extract meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with data & cloud engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate data solutions into new and existing solutions.
- Act as a thought leader, driving publication opportunities, patents, and authoring key insights that can be shared within industry and academic communities.
- Apply machine learning models in production software.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through effective data storytelling.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data science or a related analytical role.
- 3 years leading and delivering on complex projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data analysis libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
- Proficient in SQL for data management and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with AWS or similar for cloud computing and model deployments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code concepts, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Apache Superset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Assignment Type: Temp to hire
Work Hours : Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm depending on time zone
Pay Rate $73.53
Pay Details: $73.53 per hour
