Dimensional's Human Resources department drives organizational success by recruiting and cultivating a high-performing, highly engaged workforce. HR serves as a strategic commercial partner across all departments to drive business results.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, consultative compensation expert to join our team. This person will serve as a key internal advisor for executive leadership on all compensation-related matters. Key areas of focus include developing and managing reward programs in alignment organizational goals, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will be data-driven, intellectually curious, and a self-starter who partners well with business leadership to drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Consulting & Analysis:
- Advise HR and executive leadership on compensation strategies, policies, and best practices. Partner closely with business leaders to make full use of Dimensional's robust reward offerings.
- Conduct market benchmarking, analyze compensation surveys, and provide data-driven insights to inform pay structures, incentive plans, and thoughtful pay decisions.
- Monitor industry trends and changes to ensure compensation practices remain competitive and effective.
Program Development & Implementation:
- Develop and implement competitive compensation programs and practices tailored to Dimensional's organizational needs.
- Drive annual compensation review process, ensuring thoughtful outcomes and alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Continually assess reward program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement and strengthened alignment with business objectives.
Governance & Compliance:
- Monitor regulatory changes to ensure compensation practices adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry-specific guidelines.
- Deliver pay equity analyses and maintain compliance with internal governance and external reporting standards.
Plan Administration:
- Manage administration of base salary structures and short- and long-term incentive programs for a diverse set of roles across the enterprise.
- Ensure highly efficient, scalable administration of compensation policies, practices, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related Field. Master's or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in compensation consulting or corporate compensation, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Payfactors) and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday).
- Advanced knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and incentive plan design.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP, CEP) or related fields.
- Experience with sales incentive compensation a plus.
- Experience with global compensation structures and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
