Shifts Available:
Full Time; AM 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday
Expected starting wage range is around $75k - $87k annually. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Communications Specialist, Program Marketing is a mid-level communications role that focuses on supporting Telecare's behavioral health programs to maintain and strengthen their marketing materials for all appropriate stakeholders, generate referrals, manage their online and community reputations, and be financially effective and successful. The Senior Communications Specialist, Program Marketing is a dynamic and experienced healthcare marketing professional, who leads the development and implementation of program strategies. They support Telecare operations leaders in developing, implementing, monitoring, and measuring marketing efforts at the program and regional level, across a mix of channels, including print, digital, paid media, earned media, community visibility, relationship marketing, online review management, etc. They help maintain and streamline our program marketing systems and processes. They also support the communications team to operate efficiently and effectively and provide ad hoc support to the organization on wide-ranging projects and initiatives.
The Senior Communications Specialist, Program Marketing position is hybrid, with approximately 50% of the role being fully remote and 50% being field-based, either at the corporate office or working in the field at programs. The Senior Communications Specialist, Program Marketing role must operate on Pacific Standard Time and ideally be based in California or the West Coast.
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role or related position
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective, multi-channel lead development and marketing campaigns to support healthcare providers and programs
- Proven ability to develop and implement paid and earned media efforts
- Proven ability to develop and implement online visibility and reputation management efforts
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, a valid driver's license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate Telecare's mission, purpose, and values in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders
- Plans, manages, monitors, and measures program marketing efforts, in alignment with Telecare's mission, vision, values, strategic priorities, and program or regional requirements.
- Develops, produces, and distributes program marketing materials, from inception to completion, including content planning; online and in-the-field research and interviewing; and writing, editing, proofing, graphic design, and video editing.
- Empowers Telecare's regional- and program-level operations leaders to effectively utilize available materials.
- Supports Telecare's development and executive team with regional and individual program materials to support broader business development efforts.
- Partners with communications leadership to manage and optimize program marketing systems and processes.
- Collaborates on the maintenance and organization of communication assets and content for easier self-service and re-use.
- Partners with communications team members and other stakeholders to streamline and improve communication processes and practices for greater efficiency and self-sufficiency.
- Collaborates on maintaining brand and messaging standards, and ensuring communications quality, consistency, and accuracy.

- Fluency with online analytics (website, email marketing, etc.)
- Confidence and experience in advising leaders and teams on communications strategies and plans
- Ability to craft effective, targeted communications for diverse audiences at all levels
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb and lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, twist, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity and to occasionally drive and be exposed to uneven walking ground as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious). Visual requirements include computers and books exposure.
