As part of Dun & Bradstreet's Data & Analytics team, you will play a critical role supporting data science initiatives, engaging with clients and colleagues to identify business needs, and contributing to the development and implementation of analytical solutions.

You will use data science techniques to automate and scale our analytic capabilities as well as validate our predictive scores and recommend changes when needed.

Essential Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in utilizing data science techniques, including supervised and unsupervised machine learning, Natural Language Processing, and graph analysis, top automate and scale internal business processes.
  • Engage with clients and colleagues to identify business needs and contribute to the development, implementation, and management of analytical solutions.
  • Validate the performance of existing risk models, predictive solutions, and recommend changes when necessary.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders, clients, and senior leaders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide analytical support.
  • Assist in developing global analytic solutions, including statistical models, based on established best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Research business issues and recommend solutions, including model inputs and end products, focusing on specific customer needs and use cases.
  • Bring new projects forward from ideation to proof of concept and impact assessment.
  • Work closely with related groups to ensure business continuity.
  • Work as a member of one or more agile teams, using lean principles and SCRUM methodology.
  • Leverage advanced analytical skills to collect, organize, and deliver large datasets from multiple
  • channels and sources, ensuring comprehensive data integration.
  • Provide technical expertise in various analytical tasks, including design, development, validation,
  • calibration, documentation, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Develop visual analytics tools by designing and creating dashboards in tools such as Power BI.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data compilation, analysis, and quality
  • assurance.
  • Provide analysis and drive modern solutions and efficiencies in our processes.

Skills needed

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics/Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science,
  • Mathematics or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience with Big Data analysis and recommendation generation.
  • 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, or similar.
  • Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and translate data into meaningful business insight.
  • Results-oriented and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent organization, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
