Senior Accountant

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Job Description:

Overview of the company:

  • Our client is a non-profit in the Chicagoland market
  • They provide services for a very good cause
  • The Controller is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their diverse team
  • Hybrid work schedule (2 days in the office and 3 days remote)
  • They have recently built state of the art office space – beautiful office facility!

Overview of the Senior Accountant opportunity:

  • The Senior Accountant will work with account and bank reconciliations
  • The Senior Accountant will work with journal entries
  • The Senior Accountant will post to the General Ledger
  • The Senior Accountant will assist with team meetings and leadership

Background Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of general accounting experience
  • CPA is a plus
