Science Project Manager & Grant Writer (Part-Time / Flexible)

Description
This is a part-time, flexible position (employment or subcontractor) designed for someone passionate about bridging science, healthcare innovation, and funding strategy.
You will be responsible for:
- Grant sourcing & applications
- Identify national, EU, and global research grants and funding opportunities.
- Write and submit competitive grant applications in collaboration with our scientific and clinical teams.
- Manage reporting requirements and compliance post-award.
- Clinical study support & administration
- Support setup, documentation, and coordination of clinical trials and research collaborations.
- Act as the liaison between our internal teams, academic partners, and corporate collaborators.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines across multiple projects.
- Science project management
- Coordinate joint projects with universities and life science companies.
- Oversee research-related documentation, IRB/ethics submissions, and data collection workflows.
- Ensure efficiency and compliance while enabling scientific excellence.
- Innovation & efficiency
- Use modern AI tools (literature review, drafting, project management, grant monitoring) to maximize productivity.
- Continuously improve internal processes around research and funding.
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent research background) in health sciences, life sciences, biomedical engineering, digital health, or related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing with a track record of successful applications (EU Horizon, NIH, national agencies, foundations).
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills in English.
- Experience with clinical research administration (protocols, ethics submissions, reporting).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with academics, clinicians, and corporate partners.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first, international environment.
- Bonus: Familiarity with digital therapeutics, MSK research, or health economics.
