Job Description:

REEDS Jewelers is excited to post this important position to join our team.

Our Construction Coordinator reports to our Construction Manager and is responsible for managing all store repair and maintenance requests. You will assist the construction manager in fulfilling company store construction objectives, log and track project statuses and expenses, and complete project closeout. You will also assist to ensure new, remodeled, and closing stores are completed on time, in a manner that assures the highest level of customer service exceeding customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing all store repair and maintenance requests.
• Call/Email stores to troubleshoot and dispatch repair requests.
• Complete project closeout and lien wavier process.
• Support construction manager in all major construction projects and repair and maintenance initiatives to ensure cost effectiveness and timeliness.
• Maintain project and expense status sheets.
• Coordinate with tenant representatives and local government officials to ensure timely, efficient and without incident construction objectives.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal partners to ensure efficiency.
• Perform all special projects as directed by the construction manager.
• Conduct business affairs in a legal and ethical manner, building a socially conscious environment.

This position is based in the beautiful coastal city of Wilmington, North Carolina. Our office accepts hybrid positions with some days working from home and some days in the office, based on department leadership. A flexible schedule is essential to support our retail locations, so occasional nights and weekends may be needed.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail construction or repair and maintenance preferred.
• Proof of valid, clear driver's license and insurance required.
• Computer proficient; Microsoft Office, Excel and AS400.
• Must be organized and able to work as a team associate.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Flexible Schedule - may work odd hours such as nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity of both hands 100% of the time.
• Vision and hearing necessary to perform required tasks.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk and climb.
