Job Description:

Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Partner with Manager of Marketing on development and implementation of Travel Industry marketing & sales plans. Assist Manager of Marketing & Senior Manager of Marketing with overall business direction, including achieving annual business and financial goals for the division, collaborating across divisions and with external Travel Agency partners on the development of integrated business and marketing plans, as well as participating in workshops/planning meetings for implementation and performance measurement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations travel advisor content on VAX VacationAccess, including Orlando supplier showcase updates and paid advertising placements.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials on behalf of the Travel Industry Sales channel. Enter project details into Workfront project management tool and partner with Project Management team on creative development.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans with top Travel Agency partners, while managing all external & internal project related communication
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with numerous external Travel Agency partners & internal teams including Travel Industry Sales, Guest Contact Center, Trade Marketing, Direct Digital Marketing, Social Media, Resorts etc.
  • Leverage relationships to ensure UPRV has inclusion within as many channels and trade marketing tactics as possible.
  • Manage ongoing industry research focusing on B2B and B2B2C travel advisor communication, marketing materials, promotional offers, etc and provide recommendations for plans
  • Partner with UPRV Revenue Management team and develop / manage ROI of marketing programs on a continuous basis.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related discipline is required.
  • MBA or Masters Degree in a similar discipline is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience within one of the following industries is required or the equivalent combination of education and experience: e.g. Travel, Theme Parks, Tour Operators, Online Travel Agencies, Airlines, Hotels and/or Car Rental.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Proficiency with MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint, WorkFront would be ideal
  • Clear Communication, Problem Solver
  • Excellent verbal, written and proofreading skills
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency working with data, analyzing information and report findings
  • Prior experience working in a team environment
  • Must be energetic, self-motivated, a quick learner and demonstrate a strong personal desire to achieve results
  • Capable of multi-tasking, in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Extremely detail oriented and resourceful
