Position Description

Schoox is looking for a Business Analyst to join our QA team. In this role, you’ll work closely with developers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to help shape product features from concept to release. You’ll have the opportunity and capability to make decisions about important technology and product questions, ensuring we continue to deliver value through thoughtful design and high-quality execution.

A key part of your responsibilities will include supporting the quality assurance process by creating clear and thorough test scenarios and executing manual testing. You’ll work in close collaboration with the automation testing team, contributing by documenting and organizing tests in a structured way that can support automated test development when applicable. You’ll be involved in testing activities concurrently with development, in an agile and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed specifications and test scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and automation testers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Execute manual testing of new features and enhancements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Validate bug fixes and verify expected functionality before releases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing processes and techniques.
  • Ability to write clear and concise test cases and scenarios.
  • Experience working in an agile and fast-paced development team.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
  • Academic Qualifications - having a university degree.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactively identifying product or process improvements.

Nice to Have

  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
  • Familiarity with project management or QA tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Exposure to SaaS platforms or learning technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, Python for testing purposes.
  • Postman knowledge.
