Job Description

Clarivate is seeking a passionate Public Library Account Manager to support public libraries across the West Coast. As part of the Public Library Software Group – Innovative Team, you will build strong client relationships and help libraries maximize the value of leading solutions like Polaris, Sierra, and Vega LX. This role plays a critical part in driving client success, product adoption, and community impact through innovative technology.

Experience, Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5 years of direct field sales experience

  • 5 years managing external client relationships

Preferred:

  • High adaptability and resilience; strong team orientation

  • Strong emotional intelligence

  • Experience with library technology or selling library software

  • Experience supporting or selling Integrated Library Systems (ILS)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication with clients through calls and onsite visits

  • Understand each client’s product mix and solution usage

  • Create and execute account plans with financial and strategic goals

  • Ensure clients are informed about relevant events, products, and services

  • Create consulting service opportunities and coordinate internal resources

  • Document client interactions through call and visit reports

  • Identify and expand opportunities to support customer goals

Compensation (U.S. Only)

Expected Base Salary: $84,000 – $105,000 per year
Additional Compensation: Incentive/bonus eligible

Compensation depends on experience, education, skills, and other relevant factors.
