Job Description:
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the principal point of contact for a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) contract supporting up to 100 Final or Direct Final Rulemaking efforts. This position will coordinate multiple simultaneous rulemaking projects and manage administrative support services.

Position is contingent upon contract award
Work Schedule and Location:
Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Serve as principal point of contact for all BLM communications
- Organize and facilitate project kickoff meetings within 10 business days of contract award
- Develop and maintain project schedules for multiple concurrent rulemaking efforts
- Coordinate periodic status meetings (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly as directed)
- Prepare monthly status reports covering all project work and charges
- Manage overlapping workloads across multiple rulemakings
- Ensure timely delivery of all contract deliverables
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of professional experience successfully managing rulemaking projects.
- Experience with federal rulemaking processes
- Strong virtual meeting facilitation skills (Note: BLM does not use Zoom)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with government contracting and deliverables
Desired:
- PMP Certification is desired
