Job Description
A day in the life...
This job contributes to Nordstrom success by being a critical member of the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement organization’s Center of Excellence. Through people, process, tools, technology and governance drive value to the business, this role will serve as a resource for sourcing excellence by providing support in communication, change management, protocols, policy, procedure and project management.
- Define and communicate a comprehensive vision of what world class procurement organizations do as it relates to organizational structures, processes, policies, and procurement technology systems. (e.g., strategy development, sourcing practices, expected results, people and organization development, process/systems, etc.).
- Benchmark Nordstrom’s Procurement organization against Best in Class organizations.
- Develop communications and performance tracking metrics.
- Contribute to knowledge management and Technology systems to enable best in class sourcing practices; including data management, contract management, SRM, e-procurement solutions and Collaborative Planning Tools.
- Serve as Key user/Procurement Business Lead for any new Sourcing/Procurement technology Implementations
- Procurement lead for all Procurement related systems both integrated and stand alone
- Administrator for Procurement SharePoint locations and Sourcing tools
- Development and management of Sourcing/Procurement policy, process and procedures and accompanying compliance processes and documentation
- Lead projects and programs to achieve business and functional goals and continuous improvement of processes.
- Clearly communicate project plans and expectations to all team members, stakeholders, management, and suppliers
- Establishes appropriate Sourcing/Procurement reporting routines.
You own this if you have...
- 3+ years of relevant Program/Project Management experience; experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong business acumen with exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and program management skills
- Demonstrated ability to create effective relationships, influence prioritization, and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Adept at driving the execution of multi-stakeholder initiatives, providing direction when needed and removing obstacles to get work done
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, and present to large groups
- Continuous Improvement mindset and customer service ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
** This role is Hybrid Seattle, WA and will require you to be in office 3 days per week in downtown Seattle, WA. We are not offering relocation for this role at this time.

Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$92,000.00 - $155,000.00 Annual
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
