This is a Hybrid role base out of Palo Alto, CA. Hybrid is 3 days week onsite, 2 days week remote.
What you'll do:

We are seeking a Product Specialist who is part of the Product Management team for SAP BTP HANA & Persistency at SAP. Your role will be to help define and drive the product vision and roadmap by deeply understanding customer challenges and creating innovative, outcome-driven solutions that deliver value, differentiate from competition, and drive business growth. The role aligns cross-functional teams to ensure products delight customers and serve strategic goals of SAP. You will be working to help achieve key objectives: maximize the adoption, consumption, revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction of our products; drive collaboration between engineering, customer success, marketing, and other cross functional units for product requirements; research market and competition to support development of product strategy and roadmap; articulate our technical capabilities into understandable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and execution of the product strategy
  • Gathering and prioritizing product requirements
  • Supporting maximizing product adoption, migration, retention, and expansion activities and programs.
  • Administering feedback gathering programs, responding to queries from customers and monitoring online communities
  • Creating sample programs for new and upcoming technology as well as writing technical assets and whitepapers for internal and external audiences
  • Assisting in the testing of new features during their beta cycles
  • Developing and delivering documents, product demonstrations, webcasts and other related activities with team members

What You Bring
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study
  • Fluent in English
  • Technical knowledge of cloud concepts and tools applied to the area of big data processing as well as experience with experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Technical knowledge of Database, Data Management or Analytics space, focusing on solutions like Apache Spark, SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP BW, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BusinessObjects
  • Minimum four years product or solution management related role and/or customer/field facing related role experience

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $103,300 - $218,600 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
