Job Description
We are looking for a Product Engineer to support Resort Safety Systems. You will lead the design, implementation, and support of critical safety and crew applications across a growing portfolio of first-of-their-kind resort properties. From CCTV and access control to person location and door lock systems, you'll drive the full lifecycle of implementation-from early planning and vendor coordination through technical design, installation, testing, and knowledge transfer. This position will be a contract and hybrid in Miramar, FL, with occasional global travel to resorts and cruise sites.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.
What You'll Do

Lead implementation planning, design, deployment, and support of safety-related 3rd-party systems (e.g., CCTV, door locks, time & attendance, access control)

Translate business and construction requirements into executable technical plans

Coordinate with vendors, oversee equipment delivery and installation logistics

Configure servers, applications, and systems to meet project and security requirements

Troubleshoot across the stack-servers, applications, networks, firewalls
-
Create documentation, train support teams, and contribute to a living technical knowledgebase

Travel globally to resort and ship sites to oversee real-world implementation
What You'll Need
Required:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
-
3+ years in systems engineering, product implementation, or technical analyst roles
-
Strong experience with 3rd-party systems integration and vendor management
-
Comfortable working with both Windows and Linux environments
-
Knowledge of databases and SQL + ability to read network architecture diagrams
-
Excellent communicator-verbal, written, technical and non-technical
-
Able to work independently, troubleshoot in the field, and wear many hats
Preferred:
-
Experience with safety systems (CCTV, door locks, PLS, etc.)
-
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
-
Global travel experience or excitement to see the world while you work

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

The pay range for this position is $53.00-$58.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
