Job Description:

Who we are looking for:

First Eagle is seeking a Private Credit and Real Estate Fund Associate to join the Fund Administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the below responsibilities and have the following qualifications for this role.

What you will do:

  • Work directly with the Funds' Treasurer and CFO to design and implement financial and operational best practices for 1940 Act registered funds investing in private credit and private real estate in order to support the growth and evolution of the product suite

  • Daily oversight of the outsourced fund administration function, including but not limited to ensuring the appropriate accounting treatment of the private credit and real estate fund products

  • Review of regulatory reporting of the private credit and real estate funds, including but not limited to; monthly N-PORT, quarterly Part F, semi and annual financial statements, N-CSR, N-CEN, 24F-2, Prospectus and SAI updates

  • Coordinate the production calendar with the service provider and ensure all internal deadlines are met

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures for processes within your responsibility

  • Address any internal or external ad hoc requests and questions

  • Serve as a key point of contact for auditors and tax accountants

  • Support new private credit and real estate fund launch coordination, including internal and external coordination

The qualities you should have:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, business, or economics; CPA a plus

  • 2-5+ years of fund administration experience with a focus on mutual funds and the Investment Company Act of 1940

  • Dynamic and effective communication skills, focus and perseverance

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a team player

  • Knowledge of financial markets and basic economic principles

  • Experience with fixed income, private credit, or real estate funds a plus

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several ongoing and ad-hoc projects simultaneously

  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strategic-thinker, analytical, problem solver

  • Automation experience (ex. Alteryx) a plus

Base Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to - the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
