Job Description

We’re looking for a highly conceptual and strategic Freelance Presentation Designer with an art direction background to support the creative team at a fast-paced creative agency. This role calls for a presentation expert who brings a sophisticated, minimalistic design sensibility and a deep understanding of visual storytelling. You will be responsible for crafting compelling, well-structured decks that elevate creative concepts and communicate ideas with clarity and impact. Ideal candidates are fast, detail-oriented designers who understand how to balance imagery and copy across a range of presentation formats, from internal strategy decks to high-stakes client-facing presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Design visually compelling presentations that align with creative and strategic objectives
• Collaborate closely with creative leads and project stakeholders to develop engaging storytelling through layout, typography, and imagery
• Strategically place photos and copy to enhance narrative flow and clarity
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and tone across all presentation materials
• Translate complex ideas into clean, minimal, and professional visual formats
• Work efficiently to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining high design standards
• Adapt presentation designs for various audiences and formats (pitch decks, internal reviews, client meetings, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a presentation designer or similar role
• Prior experience working with advertising agencies or creative studios
• Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated, minimalistic design in decks or presentations
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and/or Google Slides
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
• Background in visual design, graphic design, or communication design
• Experience collaborating with senior-level creative and strategy teams
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for supplemental design tasks
• Experience in storytelling and branding across multiple industries
