Position Summary

The Portfolio Marketing Manager, Global Diagnostics will be responsible for leading the strategic marketing and lifecycle management of a specific product portfolio within Zoetis Diagnostics. This individual will develop and execute global marketing strategies to drive product adoption, market penetration, and financial performance. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, Product, Medical, R&D, finance, and regional marketing teams, to ensure the portfolio's success.

As a key member of the Portfolio Marketing team, the Portfolio Marketing Manager will provide market insights, define product positioning, and develop go-to-market strategies that align with Zoetis’ global vision. This role will be responsible for product-level P&L management and will play a key role in driving profitable growth. The P&Ls range from $80 million to $200 million for respective product lines and will require coordinate across >70 markets worldwide to drive effective commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Strategy: Develop and implement global marketing strategies for the assigned product portfolio.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of the entire product lifecycle, from new product launches to end-of-life strategies.
  • P&L Responsibility: Manage product-level financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, and profitability targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including pricing, messaging, and promotional activities.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with marketing materials, training, and tools to drive commercial success.
  • Innovation & Pipeline Development: Work with Product, R&D, Medical and external partners to identify and develop new product opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional marketing teams, finance, and supply chain to ensure global alignment.
  • Customer Engagement: Gather insights from veterinarians, distributors, and industry stakeholders to refine portfolio strategy.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of marketing experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or animal health, with experience in product management.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute portfolio-level marketing strategies.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management and pricing strategy.
  • Market Insight & Analysis: Experience conducting market research and applying insights to business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work across teams including sales, R&D, finance, and supply chain.
  • Communication & Influence: Strong ability to present and communicate marketing strategies to senior leadership.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.

Travel Requirement

Regular travel within the US and occasional international travel as required.

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to
be located in (Colorado). Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.

Base Pay Range: $126,000 - $181,000

The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in (California), (NJ Remote), (NY Remote), or (Washington). Base pay may vary based on location and
other factors.

Base Pay Range: $134,000 - $205,000

[This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation.] [The position is also eligible for long-term incentive.]
