Title: Permitting & Right of Way Representative

Location: Ramsey United States

Job Description:

We're hiring a Permitting & Right of Way Representative, to join the team at Connexus Energy. This position will initiate and administer permits through the lifecycle of construction projects to ensure compliance with right-of-way ordinances. Act as liaison between Connexus Energy and permitting agencies. Be point of contact related to existing Joint Use agreements, ensuring all processes are followed, documents are scanned, and communications logged to the work order. Support the Design team with communications and documentation administration for backlot conversion projects.

Location:

Work for this position can be performed both on-site at our campus located at 14601 Ramsey Blvd, Ramsey, MN 55303, and from your local home office as duties require. While this position is designated as a hybrid role, based on current policy, hires must reside in or relocate within commuting distance to our office in Ramsey, MN.

Compensation:

Anticipated hiring pay is between $25.38 to $33.32 per hour. The final compensation offered is based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience and skill level. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% based on company performance.

In this position you will:

  • Initiate and administer right-of-way permits to gain access to the right-of-way for construction and maintenance within the distribution system. This includes preparing permit requests, tracking permit status in the Work Application Management System (WAMS), and managing permits through the lifecycle of a project.
  • Ensure compliance with joint use attachment contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with local government entities' right-of-way ordinances and permitting requirements to facilitate work in the public right-of-way.
  • Support the communication for backlot line conversation projects.

Need to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, both paper and digital
  • Knowledge of construction environment

Nice to have:

  • One or more years of Right of Way experience
  • International Right of Way Association Certification
  • Formal Right of Way Training
