Job Description:

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age.

Education Qualifications:

PRACTICE SPECIFICS:

• Candidate would be joining a busy, established, complex surgery team consisting of 5 Advanced Practitioners and 7 Physicians

• Supports the General Surgeons with their clinic needs

• Provide continuity of care to our patients receiving care from the General Surgeons

• Provides pre-op and post-op patient education

• Coordinates diagnostic studies, consultations, procedures, and communications

• Manages post-op care of patients

• Will support entire General Surgery physician team

SCHEDULE:

• Clinic schedule

• 0.8 FTE

• NO call expectation

• NO weekends or holidays

• Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

NP:

Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.

Current certification in CPR.

National certification in applicable area.

Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

PA:

Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.

Current certification in CPR.

National certification.

Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
