Your Opportunity
New Relic is hiring a Senior Motion Generalist. This role requires a mix of creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration to produce engaging motion graphics and video content. The ideal candidate will push the brand forward through the execution of motion design and editing work, creating technical demos, product animations, customer stories, social content, and more. The Senior Motion Generalist will work closely with Designers, Producers, Writers, and Product Marketers.
What You'll do
- Lead the creation of visually compelling, on-brand motion graphics and videos from concept through to execution.
- Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop innovative motion work that captivates audiences and fulfills company objectives.
- Drive innovation in motion design by embracing the latest tools, technologies, workflows, and AI advancements to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline production processes, enabling a focus on creative exploration and innovation.
- Maintain and evolve our motion design principles and processes.
- Stay ahead of design trends, applying fresh insights to push our brand forward.
What is Required
- 4+ years of motion/video/editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Strong conceptual design skills, including typography and layout expertise
- Experience creating Lottie files to enhance interactivity
- Versatile motion design skills, with the ability to create engaging animations suitable for various platforms
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders
- Growth mindset and ability to work effectively in ambiguity
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience: 5 years for Bachelor's; 3 years for Master's; or 6-8 years of related work experience

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
