Job Description:

Conduct thorough manual testing of banking applications to ensure high quality and functionality.
Analyze requirements and design test cases based on business specifications, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Execute test cases, document results, and manage test documentation throughout the testing cycle.
Identify, document, and track defects in a structured manner, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
Participate in test planning sessions and provide input on testing strategies and methodologies.
Engage in regression testing to confirm that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Work closely with business users to understand their processes and ensure that applications meet their needs.
Provide feedback on software usability and user experience based on testing outcomes.
Assist in the development and improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and standards that may affect application testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in manual testing, specifically within the banking sector.
Strong understanding of banking applications, processes, and industry standards.
Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience in identifying, documenting, and managing defects effectively.
Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus.
